Corrections Policy
We rely on published sources for every factual claim (see Sources), but sources go stale and mistakes happen. If you spot something wrong on CompareCEX — a fee that changed, an incorrect country restriction, a broken link, or anything else — we want to know.
How to report an error
Email us at corrections@comparecex.com with the page URL, what you believe is wrong, and — if possible — a source we can check against. We do not yet have a public submission form; email is the only channel while we are in the early build phase.
What happens after you report an error
- We check the claim against the original source, or find an updated one.
- If the report is correct, we update the Knowledge Graph field, not just the page text, so the fix applies everywhere that field is used.
- The change is logged with what changed, when, and why.
- Significant corrections (ones that could change a ranking or a reader's decision) are listed on our update history page.
Response time
We aim to acknowledge correction reports within a few business days. Fixes to fast-moving data like fees are prioritized over cosmetic issues.
No penalty for reporting
Reporting an error never affects how we treat you as a reader, and it never affects an exchange's score unless the underlying data genuinely needs to change.
