Corrections Policy

We rely on published sources for every factual claim (see Sources), but sources go stale and mistakes happen. If you spot something wrong on CompareCEX — a fee that changed, an incorrect country restriction, a broken link, or anything else — we want to know.

How to report an error

Email us at corrections@comparecex.com with the page URL, what you believe is wrong, and — if possible — a source we can check against. We do not yet have a public submission form; email is the only channel while we are in the early build phase.

What happens after you report an error

  1. We check the claim against the original source, or find an updated one.
  2. If the report is correct, we update the Knowledge Graph field, not just the page text, so the fix applies everywhere that field is used.
  3. The change is logged with what changed, when, and why.
  4. Significant corrections (ones that could change a ranking or a reader's decision) are listed on our update history page.

Response time

We aim to acknowledge correction reports within a few business days. Fixes to fast-moving data like fees are prioritized over cosmetic issues.

No penalty for reporting

Reporting an error never affects how we treat you as a reader, and it never affects an exchange's score unless the underlying data genuinely needs to change.
